While appreciating that our current national anthem has adequately served as our nationalistic purposes for over 80 years; we the people assert that out country would be better served by a patriotic tune that more appropriately reflects, not only the spirit of our country in the 21st century, but also our inalienable right to party. As such we propose that the national anthem of our United States of America be changed from the 'Star Spangled Bannner' by Francis Scott Key to '(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)' by The Beastie Boys
