On behalf of a very popular late night television talk show host, I hereby petition the Obama administration to change the national anthem of the United States to "The West Wing" theme song.
"The West Wing" theme song would provide a fresh, innovative approach to this nations' goal of improving our level of arts and humanities. While there is nothing particularly wrong with the current national anthem, "The West Wing" theme song would add a certain professionalism that is currently missing in our anthem.
Therefore, I hereby petition President Obama to research ways to accomplish this goal. Whether it be by executive order, congressional approval, or working with our partners in Hollywood, I feel that this is a worthwhile goal and one that would further unite our great nation.
