Change the national motto to "In Gods Some Trust."

Created by D.L. on November 04, 2011

Because lawmakers are reluctant to take God out of our national motto, the motto should at least be changed in order to better represent the American people. "In Gods Some Trust" would be a perfect motto. The word "Gods" recognizes that there are multiple religions in America that do not worship the same deity. It also accounts for polytheists who believe in multiple deities. The word "Some" recognizes that not all Americans believe in a god and also recognizes the people who believe in a god but do not trust them. This motto would be perfect for the United States because we are a nation that is tolerant to all faiths, so the motto would reflect that. The motto extends on the idea that religion plays an important role in public life and applies it to every one.
