I am a U.S. Citizen who currently is also a temporary resident, not a citizen of Mexico. When I am in the U.S., which is about 6 weeks a year, I reside with my sister in Massachusetts. I keep my motorcycle titled & registered there. I will be kicked off Mass Health Sept 23rd 2015 because I don't live 183 days or more in Mass.
Expats like myself are expected to pay income tax on any money earned outside of the U.S., but we are being denied equal treatment under the Affordable Care Act. If I get sick I am not going to be provided treatment in Mexico and I am unable to have insurance in the U.S. Please change the law and/or use an executive order to legally clarify we deserve the same rights as all Americans.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
