The formation of the stars is that of the Star of David, or the the star that represents Jews. As an official representation of the United States, I don't believe that other countries should ever have to consider whether or not the USA may really be a Jewish state/nation. There was an original sketch where the 13 stars were placed haphazard in the exact same spot. Many United States citizens are not of Jewish cultural expectations and standards. How we are perceived will dictate how we are treated.
