change the official motto of the United States from "In God We Trust" to the original, de facto motto, "E pluribus unum.

Created by J.G. on May 26, 2013

We believe that "E pluribus unum" (one out of many) should be the official motto of the United States. It was adopted by Congress in 1782 as a phrase on the Seal of the United States, but never codified into law. This is not an attack on the current motto, "In God We Trust," but we feel that "E pluribus unum" is more inclusive to all citizens and is more in keeping with the Founders original intention of keeping religion and government separate.
