We believe that Nevada- a state wholly inferior to the Great State of California- does not deserve the honor of these majestic mountains and therefore should not be considered the 'owner' or 'steward' of these mountains as the current name suggests.
Furthermore we believe that- because of issues of future water security due to climate change- California should be allowed full access to the water reserves of the Sierra California Mountain at the expense of the Natives in Nevada due to our greater economic and cultural significance.
