On behalf of the high school students, college students, scientists, and engineers who have to deal with our current system of units and its ridiculous conversions, I petition that the United States change its official system of measurement to the International System of Units for easier day-to-day conversion as well as increased unity with scientists and engineers around the world who already use this system.
