The entire world uses the metric system with exception to three countries, one of them being the United States of America. Changing to the metric system will not only make it easier to trade with other nations but also not confuse tourists and visitors to our country. Changing to the metric system would permit other nations and individuals to trade or share information with the US that they otherwise may not due to the Imperial system of measurement. It is similar the the common language of English. If many people speak it, it makes international relations much easier.
