Change the official United States Motto from "In God We Trust" to "E Pluribus Unum". Out of many, we are one.

Created by C.L. on January 01, 2016

E Pluribus Unum. Out of many, one. Out of the many unique people who all have different beliefs and different skin tones and come from different backgrounds, we are one. That is what makes our country what it is: a melting pot. And we can only stand as a solid nation if all these different people can stand together without discrimination, and I feel like this is a step in the right direction. It is time that we take a stand against the discriminators in our country and let them know that we will no longer tolerate their behavior that promotes an Us vs. Them mentality.
Our current motto is long outdated. "In God We Trust" presents the assumption that the whole country believes in a god, which, for starters, goes against the Establishment Clause.
E Pluribus Unum. Out of Many, One.
