Change the official U.S system of measurement to Metric.

There is no doubt that the United States is the cornerstone of modern innovation and ground breaking design. This can be seen everywhere as far back as Jonas Salk, the creator of the polio vaccine, all the way up to modern times with our work on the Ebola crisis. With this in mind, it is surprising to me that this glorious nation has lagged behind on a prominent issue, being a logical system of measurement. The metric system has proved itself to be far more logical than it's imperial counterpart. It only makes sense to have these units be in base 10, not some odd set of numbers that have nothing to do with each other. To conclude, I ask you, the Obama administration/congress, to change our system of measurement to one that will mirror the values of our nation, honor, glory, and greatness.
