As an OEF and six year Army veteran, I understand the meaning and historic importance of our current National Anthem, however, it is a relic of an era long past, and while traditions are important, we should have an anthem that reflects moderns times!

Please consider this song, it is catchy, it addresses poverty, job creation, simple pleasures in our pursuit of happiness and tackles a uniquely American staple.
Further, I believe this anthem would be easier to sing at baseball games, is prone to less error in its recitation and more people can relate to it and would enjoy listening to it.
