Why does a parent have to spend almost a thousand dollars a month for children he can afford to visit? Do away with child support guidelines and treat each case individually. Make custody/visitation agreements mandatory before child support established. Many parents give up everything to fight for their right to be a father with little or no support from the family justice system. Many parents are living in poverty to pay their child support. Yes there are dead beat dads but there are dead beat mothers using the system to manipulate good parents. Our current child support laws make it impossible for parents who live in different states than their children to have some kind of visitation. Let's make this right! Let's make it fair!
