Since the United States is falling in the statistics when it comes to education, we must start by acknowledging the problems so that our education system does not fail our students. We must look at how those nations that are excelling in education are progressing and try to come up with something that will work for this nation. This is a national problem because if we are not dedicated in improving the lives of those that will be in charge of running this nation in the future, we have no chance in competing in a global aspect.
