The way our educational system works is narrow minded. Standardized tests are used to grade individuals against a population, tuition rates climb year after year while kids and adults alike are forced to take classes and study subjects they will likely never need.
If our government makes all education free, every kid in America has the opportunity to get the education they want and deserve. If we get rid of standardized tests and allow kids to study the classes and subjects they want, we will have kids who are inspired to succeed and driven to learn because they are educating themselves in what interests them and what benefits them the most. Let the kids be in charge of their education and their future instead of telling them what classes to take and what scores to get to succeed.
