Change our infrastructure to handle the rapid development of strong storms

Created by D.K. on May 16, 2013

With multiple hurricane-level storms coming into Greenwich within the past few years, a change in infrastructure would make the process of recovery a much simpler task. Some of the solutions to our recent woes include burying overground electrical wiring, preparing for storms in advance and better protecting people and our electrical wiring. If a change is not made, millions of people are at risk of power outages, injuries (or death) and destruction of property. The government has the tools to act swiftly on this matter, but the support in order to go through with it has been lacking. General support and signing this petition could launch these solutions forward and make our communities much better and safer places to live.
