Change our Military Working Dogs Military Status From "Equipment" to "Veteran".

Created by M.P. on January 08, 2013

Current Military Working Dogs (military police dogs) military status while serving our country at home and abroad are, by military regulation, listed under the category of "equipment". As such when they retire they are listed in a category of "disposal" like you would list a used piece of steel equipment. We the people believe these amazing dogs are indeed not equipment but are as much veterans serving the United States of America in the military as their human military partners/handlers. We want their military status changed to Canine Veterans Of The United States Military, in honor of their vital and continued distinguished service to our nation. These dogs have never received any reward for all the lives they have saved and will save. We want their status changed.
