The American Government is spying on its citizens communications, as recent news articles have brought to light. The Patriot Act makes it legal for the NSA and other agencies to collect phone and digital communication information on innocent Americans that have not been accused of a crime and are watched without a warrant. It is time for the Federal Government to stop the infringement on our civil liberties. Collecting information on every Americans digital and phone habits is a violation of the Fourth Amendment, which is supposed to guard against "unreasonable search and seizure."
Change the Patriot Act to ensure that a warrant is needed to get any individuals phone or digital record.
This isnt a Republican or Democrat problem, this is a problem with the Federal Government.
