Our constitution states that every man and woman are entitled each to their own beliefs. As such, all men and women do not believe in equal or similar faiths. Some of us believe in a Christian 'God', others believe in religion that don't recognize a supreme 'god' like Buddhism, while others defy the presence of any gods. It is in this aspect that it is incorrect to pledge allegiance under an oath that forces some to disagree with their own beliefs. By changing the statement 'Under God' to a more broad statement, we would be staying true to the fundamentals that built our country in the first place.
