Change the physical legislative process using technology. Legislators will be in home area more, difficult for lobbyist!

Created by R.M. on November 15, 2012

Have the Senate and House start to change their process where as they do more debating over video conferencing methods and also stage voting using this method. Many advantages to this and it would be a win win for our legislators and constituents. The legislators can be home more. They would be closer to their constituents which would allow for immediate issue feedback and voting feedback. It would be harder for lobbyist to interface as they would now have to reach out to many points for contact versus just going to one physical city. Legislators should welcome this change because it would fall in line with usage of technology, etc. , which most of them always talk about in campaigns. It would inadvertently help the legislators stay closer to the values they originally ran on.
