Change the picture on the $20 bill from Andrew Jackson to Siddhartha Gautama.

Created by N.M. on April 13, 2015

You may be wondering why we should remove Jackson from the $20 bill, and replace him with Siddhartha Gautama. I am here to tell you why. Jackson forced thousands of Native Americans to relocate their housing, and move onto reservations. This is known as the "Trail of Tears". Andrew Jackson forced at least 46,000 Cherokees, Choctaws, Muscogee-Creeks, Chickasaws, and Seminoles off their ancestral lands. Mr. Gautama pushed, not thousands of humans towards their deaths, but for people to find their own meaning to life. He taught love, compassion, and charity. He created a way to live your life to your full potential, not a genocide. Andrew Jackson engineered a genocide. He shouldn’t be on our currency.
