Before the Cold War, there was no phrase "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. This was added because we were fighting the "godless Communists", and since we are no longer fighting any "godless Communists" I propose that we change it back to the way it was. The addition of this phrase brings up the "separation of Church and State" issue.
