Change the "Pledge of Allegiance" or remove it from schools.

Created by V.T. on March 03, 2013

Since 1892 the Pledge of Allegiance has undergone reconstruction 4 times. It is time that we do so once more, or remove it from our schools.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

The current Pledge is unjust to some due to it's statement of "one Nation under God".

Many Americans are religious, just as many are not. It is unfair that children are being taught, and requested to repeat the pledge of allegiance in school when they may not be religious. If the Pledge is to be recited in school it should refrain from any religious affiliations.
