We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Change policies that negatively affect citizens who suffer from long term chronic pain.

Created by M.K. on June 04, 2016

Citizens who suffer from long term debilitating pain have been impacted by the government's attempt to control drug addicts. The DEA and other agencies have forgotten to focus on those who do not abuse drugs and depend upon it daily for their ability to enjoy good quality of life. The government not only makes it harder to get refills, they limit the pain medications that are approved for coverage by health insurance and even pharmacies are limited on how many specific pain pills they can sell per month regardless of patient needs. Patients are restricted to a 90 day limit even if they will be traveling outside the country for more than 90 days. For example if you decided to go to a warmer climate during winter months, you must return within 90 days because no refills are allowed.
