Change presidential term to one eight year period 70 years of age retirement for members of Congress Three term maximum

Created by D.H. on November 14, 2012

Consider change allowing for one Presidential term of 8 years. Halves expense and time spent on campaigns. Allows President uninterrupted time to fulfil duties of office.

Restrict members of congress to three terms only with mandatory retirement age of 70 years. Founding Fathers never intended positions to be lifetime careers

Have Congress members be subject to same health care and social security programs as the citizenry for whom they work.
