change the process to choose members of government science committees so that they have to hold a college science degree

We the people who have signed this petition believe that the process in which senators are put on government science committees is too lax, and is allowing people who are not qualified to speak on such issues such as Woman's Rights or environmental issues. We believe that people who are placed on the science committee that is responsible for making such decisions should have to hold, at least some kind of college degree that involves science. We would like to see a complete overhaul of the selection process of these committee members, so that the information and insight provided by this committee can be trusted, and used for the betterment of the nation.
