The Department of Veterans Affairs purpose is to ensure that the Veterans of this great nation, receive the benefits that they are entitled to. The current process of receiving said benefits is discouraging, and often times makes it so that the Veterans do not want to go through the hassle. Paperwork is constantly lost, and re-done three to four times just for something as simple as utilizing the GI Bill. The bottom line is that this process of getting what we are entitled to should not be as hard or discouraging as it currently is. Something needs to be done to re-vamp this process, and fix the ineffectiveness of the Department of Veteran Affairs.
