My father was diagnosed with cancer in Dec of '14. While undergoing greuling chemotherapy he had to renew his drivers license. He was told he had to take a new picture. My father, who is far from a vain man, asked if he could use his previous picture-he was denied. Why are motor vehicle agencies tormenting people who are undergoing cancer treatments! Cancer already strips away everything from them during treatment-why their dignity too? Why do they have to have their in-treatment picture on their licenses? Giving them the opportunity to use their previous picture actually gives them a small victory in the battle in which they are enduring. Let them have their dignity & the picture of whom they are on the inside, so that they may save the "fight" for something much more important--RECOVERY
