Being a trucker is Ridiculous hard work. if you're a long hauler who travels the 48 states you have to work in a low pay stressful(at times) on the clock schedule. The Diesel prices are wrongly through the roof, there is a truck driver shortage, and the economy of the whole western civilization is ran by trucks. yes they create more emissions and use more fuel then wished. but unless you want to pay 100$ for shirt that costed 20$ simply because of fear of emissions then be my guest but if you want your stuff not inflated then maybe slack up on the guy/girl that gets it to you.
and please stop the ridiculous "rest schedule" it only brings less rest and sleep trying to work to that schedule and the companies. if the regulations and gas prices dont fall you will see a very high inflation
