Change the reporting times for negative information within all three credit bureaus from seven years to four.

Created by C.N. on January 29, 2013

The time frame for most negative information to remain on file with any of the three bureaus is seven years. Many of the negative lines of credit within these files are an inaccurate reflection of creditworthiness. The credit system does not evaluate borrowers on their merits, but rather ranks them based on outdated and rigid rules that are unresponsive to customer needs and to a changed economic environment. Due to this fact, millions of people are unable to fulfill their future plans/American dreams.

Millions of hard working Americans are getting back on there financial feet but are unable to rebuild their lives for the burden of 7 years of negative reporting. Please really get the economy going and help the American People. American consumers need a fresh start.
