Change the result of the Duke - Miami football game

Created by J.A. on November 02, 2015

On October 31, Atlantic Cost Conference rivals Duke University and the University of Miami played a football game in Durham, North Carolina. Miami was awarded a game-winning touchdown on the final play of the game, a result which was immediately controversial because of what appeared to be multiple mistakes by the officiating crew.

The next day, the ACC admitted that the game should have been over before the score ever occurred and that there were at least 4 incorrect calls during that single play. The conference went so far as to suspend all of the officials involved in the game, but has not indicated a willingness to change the result, despite their own admission that Duke should have been awarded the victory.

The ACC and NCAA should award Duke the victory for this game.
