Change the salary of those within the 3 branches of government to the national minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.

This is about the politicians being out of touch with those who they are suppose to represent. This is not about trying to punish those who are in congress, supreme court, or even the president because all of these individual worked very hard to achieve the position they are currently in but it is about giving them the ability to empathies with those millions of Americans, our country men and women who go hungry every day. This is not because they refuse to work but because the system is flawed. It is the job of our government to help all American and not just those who run Fortune 500 companies. Lynden Johnson the 36th president of this great nation envisioned a great society without hunger and poverty and after 50 years we still have not accomplished it.
