Change the Selective Service Act to require females over the age of 18 to register.

With the changes in society since the Selective Service Act went into effect women have taken a prominent role in society and the military. Women are equals to men and as such should be required to meet the same civic obligations. To date women have reached the pinnacles of civil and government service to include the upper echelons of the military. It is with this intent and society in general women be placed on true equal footing as America's sons have long been required to do. Adding females to the Selective Service Act will not only dramatically increase the pool of eligible citizens but truly show America is a land of equality and all share the burden of freedom.
