Change Selective Service requirements to include women aged 18-25, who are now approved for combat roles.

Created by C.T. on January 24, 2013

On 24 January 2013, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced women have been approved for combat roles in the military as early as 2016. The Selective Service Act, made law in 1917, applies only to men aged 18-25. If women will be allowed to obtain combat roles, they should be required to enroll in the Selective Service System as well. This petition is for the Obama administration to enforce this policy change.
