Change sentencing guidelines to enforce longer prison sentences for those convicted of rape.

In our great nation, the punishment for rape is on average 11.8 years, however, only about 5.4 years of that sentence are actually served. For the victims of this unspeakable crime, this is a minuscule amount of time compared to the life altering tragedy we have endured. While the sentence for this horrific crime varies by state, the sentence is no where near enough for what we have been through.
I implore the government to impose uniform and longer sentences for convicted rapists.
