Sexual assault, child molestation, and child pornography are very serious crimes, that leaves lasting scars on the victim.
Convicted sex offenders must be supervised better in communities nationwide. Some states do not require level 1 sex offenders to be listed on the registry. Because of the severity of these crimes, sex offenders, regardless of level, must be listed on the national registry, with photographs.
Secondly, sex offenders regardless of which state they have committed the felony, must be held to a 2-strike rule. If a convicted sex offender later reoffends in another state, a 2-strike law must be upheld. A 2-strike law would sentence sex offenders to life without possibility of parole.
Lastly, sex offenders must be on "probation for life".
