All English speakers have to stop and pronounce "Wed-nes-day" every time they need to spell the word for our fourth day of the week due to the fact no one pronounces the "nes" middle section of the word. We request President Obama declare that Wednesday can officially be spelled Wendsday, as it pronounced. Generations of children learning to spell will save hours of cumulative pauses over the courses of their lives.
