The independent youth of America are not being recognized as independent. Most of us cannot recieve the help we need to continue our education past high school. We are forced to provide our parent's income even when we recieve absolutely no assistance from them. Please change the requirements for being an independent student on the FASFA to allow anyone living on their own with no assistance from their parents.
