This petition would change the state laws of inspection for all moving vehicles to a federal law. Meaning if you vehicle was to expire while you are on the road in another state you could take the vehicle in question to any automotive center and have a new inspection sticker given.
That is of course if you pass the emission requirements. I believe this would make some motorist happy especially those who move to another state and have to go through the process of paying fees for insurance, license & plate changes.
Alleviating this issue I believe would make the American people happy and would also put some pressure on the automotive industry as a whole.
