Change the statute of limitations to serious crimes

Created by S.C. on February 18, 2015

I am absolutely enraged with so many things, but the way the United States justice system does things is among a few of them. There is no statute of limitation on murder, but the statute of limitations for rape is ten years or less in some states. Some states for this particular atrocity require a certain degree of physical violence for the statute of limitations to apply to a longer period of time. But for the victims of ANY serious crime [i.e. manslaughter, vehicular homicide, murder, assault, rape] there is NO amount of time that can erase what happened. I want there to be no limitation of these crimes listed [and crimes correlating to the severity not listed] so that more criminals can be brought to justice.
