change their approach to the american student loan crisis.

Created by P.G. on February 02, 2015

We ask that the Obama administration to rethink their approach to the student loan crisis. Instead of promoting a sense of entitlement among students, we argue that good financial stewardship is an essential trait to be rewarded in our society.
Instead of offering FREE education, we propose that all Americans who have paid regularly on their student loan debt for a period of at least 120 months without missed payments or default, be granted complete loan forgiveness. This would foster goodwill among the millions of Americans who have been struggling but have managed to pay their obligations while acknowledging the staggering levels of educational debts which are crippling Americans for decades after graduation.
