change Tipton School District's grading system from the traditional grading scale to Standards-based grading.

If we changed to Standards-based grading it gives students more opportunities to exceed their goals and feel more confident in their education. Also if you are in a class that you already know everything about then you can easily “test out” by taking the final the teacher has at the end of the semester or year. If you “test out” than you have more opportunities to take more classes and earn more credits to graduate.
