It's long past time to change the face of the twenty dollar bill. Andrew Jackson may have been the hero of the Battle of New Orleans, but he is no hero to the first peoples of North America. His policies of ethnic cleansing and genocide set the pattern for the destruction throughout the continent.
His presence on the most widely used paper currency is as offensive as the swastika or the confederate battle flag.
