Change the United States 25 year import ban to 15 years

The Government needs to change the 25 year import ban to 15 years, like Canada. I understand there needs to be a time frame to import vechiles due to emissions and safety, but 25 years is out right ridiculous. With a 15 year import plan car enthusiasts can now have the car they want to import in a reasonable amount of time, not waiting 25 years to get the car. I just feel 25 years in an unnecessary and long time for an import law.
