The United States military need to update its grooming standers to the same standers as modern business professionals, government agencies, and departments of the federal government grooming standers. Gone are the days when having no hair on the side of your head is considered professional. Many departments in the federal government have grooming standers that allow for a hair on the side of a male's head while still maintaining a professional look. By having the military subscribe to one style of haircut, you bring unwanted attention to the military member and can, with ease, be pointed out by someone wanting to do harm to a service member. In short I ask that you please update the military's grooming standers to the 21st century.
