The Bald Eagle is a beautiful creature, and its use as a symbol for our country is all well and good. But the Sasquatch is an amazing creature, with powers and abilities that are quite literally unbelievable.
Only one other country in the world has a mythical national animal - Scotland, with their unicorn. Are we just going to forfeit that unique position on the world stage? A Sasquatch would destroy a unicorn in any contest! Let alone a family of Sasquatches. Do we ever see a family of unicorns? No.
Therefore, to symbolize American uniqueness, American might and American family values, we have no choice but to select the Sasquatch as our national animal.
If we must, we can still keep the Bald Eagle - perched on Sasquatch's mighty shoulders. That would be quite an inspiring sight.
