Change the United States National Anthem to "This Land Is Your Land" by Woody Guthrie.

Created by A.W. on April 12, 2015

Woody Guthrie's 1940 song "This Land is Your Land" describes the values and philosophies of The United States of America far better than "The Star Spangled Banner."

We do not, as a people, glorify war as "Banner" does. "This Land is Your Land" much more accurately represents the exceptional American values of inclusiveness and tolerance.

It beautifully describes vastly different regions of this great country, extolling virtues not found anywhere in "Banner."

President Obama, We the undersigned hereby request that you issue an Executive Order changing the United States of America's National Anthem from "The Star Spangled Banner" to "This Land is Your Land" as one of your final acts in office.
