The electoral system for the U.S. presidential election was chosen based on the potential flaws in popular system that do not exist anymore in the modern era. Twice in the past five presidential elections, the most popular candidate was denied permission to serve as the people's president due to the electoral system. This is not appropriate for the greatest nation, country, and democracy in the world. Hence, we the people ask the White House and the U.S. Congress to change the presidential election system from electoral to popular.
