I believe we should change the US motto to "E pluribus unum" instead of "In God we Trust".
Not everyone in this great nation believes in "God" or any form of "God" therefor we shouldn't have a motto that a large chunk of the US doesn't agree with.
According to http://www.pewforum.org
"In the last five years alone, the unaffiliated have increased from just over 15% to just under 20% of all U.S. adults. Their ranks now include more than 13 million self-described atheists and agnostics (nearly 6% of the U.S. public), as well as nearly 33 million people who say they have no particular religious affiliation (14%)" -http://www.pewforum.org/Unaffiliated/nones-on-the-rise.aspx
And these people are just the ones who either don't believe in God or have no religious affiliation.
