The current US national anthem is a racist holdover from a time when slavery and colonialism were acceptable. It creates an atmosphere of discomfort whenever is is sung, and it's blind patriotism is completely inappropriate in a country where minorities are constantly gunned down for the color of their skin. I propose we change the anthem to Cock of the North, which is a much more suitable and PoC friendly song.
